Super Van gets Arsenal back in the premiership.
Arsenal hat trick hero super Robin van Persie struck a hat trick at Stamford Bridge to get Arsenal back in the premiership race. Arsene has managed to maintain his cool despite pressure from both supporters and fans about the team's bad start. Joy and laughter has finally returned to Emirates stadium again.
The Arsenal captain had this to say after the game:
"I feel I can score every time I go out on to the pitch.
"For me it’s just the best feeling to have. It doesn’t really matter against who we play, we always create chances so that means I always have a go. Then it’s up to me to score.
"I’ll miss chances, but I’ll score them as well. To have that feeling is one of the best things in life."
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says his side achieved a "great win" after edging Chelsea 5-3 at Stamford Bridge to move up to sixth in the Premier League. Santos and Walcott also fired a goal each to make in 5 whilst Mata, Terry and Lampard only managed to reduce the goal margin to a respectable one.
Wenger praises his captain Robin van Persie's "exceptional class" following the Dutch international's hat-trick, which means the striker has scored 27 goals from 27 games in 2011.As Arsenal face Marseille, the question now is will Arsene start Robin? Arsene has admitted that he is likely to make some changes to the team that went to Stamford. Wenger having revealed that he doesnt want to overplay Ramsey and he doesnt want to lose captain RVP, he might rest the two and put either Chamakh or Park as central striker.
The manager is also likely going to rest the number one short stopper and give Lukasz Fabianski a chance.Which other changes do you think the manager will make? Post your comments.
