Robin, one of Europes most feared strikers

Robin Van Persie goes into tonight's game against Dortmund as one of Europe's most feared striker. Christiano Ronaldo tops the list followed by Lionel Messi and Mario Gomez.  Super van rests on position four and Arsene  and Wayne Rooney not to be out done is number 10.

Wenger has confirmed he will not gamble him this time around. The gamble did not pay off with Marseille. All Robin has to do is set up his deadly left foot. Dortmund are not an easy opponent by Arsenal are riding in a wave of success and have a better chance tonight.

But Dortmund’s brilliant win against Bayern Munich this weekend lives the match quite open as to who will win. Arsene’s strategy might be getting an early goal thereby piling pressure on the Germany outfit then get another or two to seal a home victory.

Arsene Wenger looks ready to lead his team to the last 16 tonight. A win against the Germans will likely bring more joy and confidence in the French man who had fallen out of favour with fans.

With a not so solidy defending last weekend, my prediction is Arsenal 2 and Borussia Dortmund 1. Write your own predictions below in the comments box.

I will stay: Arsene Wenger

Arsene's mood was a little lighter after the win away at Norwich. When asked about his future with the North Londoners, he had this to say.

“I can only speak for me - the Club can decide to get rid of me tomorrow morning and I cannot interfere with that decision - but I am totally committed here and I will show you that at the end of the season.”

Arsenal dismisses Norwich as Van Persie's star continues to rise

Arsenal have attained a fifth successive victory with a two nil away win at Norwich. Robin Van Persie's star continued to shine on Saturday as the dutch man grabbed a double to seal a 2 1 victory. Super Van now has 31 goals in 9 league games.

Whilst this is good news for the North Londoners, his super form might cause problems in trying to keep his jersey at the emirates on the January transfer window. Robin had forged a bond with the English forward Theo Walcott with there combination getting better with each game. Theo is responsible for the assists that led to the greater part of Van Persie's goals.

Even the critics who said earlier in the season that Van Persie lacked leadership qualities to succeed the former captain Cesc Fabregas have now been silenced. His jersey has also racked in profits for the North Londoners club.

"Everybody wants to buy Van Persie's jersey", said one fan after the match. Despite the future of Van Persie and Jack Wilshire being doubtful, the Manager himself hinted more than twice that this might be his last season with the club. Real Madrid had showed interest in Arsene. The President of Real has also once been quoted as saying that if any man is to replace Jose, Arsene Wenger would be the man .

Mikel Arteta was comfy in midfield: Arsenal 3 West Brom 0

Arteta has finally scored his first goal at the Emirates in an Arsenal shirt, Wenger said: “Arteta  is like Ryan Giggs" However, despite Arteta showing that he is a classic midfielder, he has a mamoth task to gain entry into Spain's starting eleven and topple the likes of Xavi, Iniesta and Cesc Fabregas to mention a few.

Arteta plays deep midfield position and his primary role is to get the ball to the forwards. A change of nationality could be the only way for Arteta to shine in national colors.

Van Persie scored the opener and Thomas Vermaelen scored his first goal in two years to make it 2 - 0. Arteta then scored a classy 15-yard effort which landed into the bottom corner of the net.

Arsene had this to say after the game. “Mikel is an important player in our team. When we need to keep the ball, Mikel can do that. With Jack Wilshere missing, Mikel is really a player who allows you to keep the ball when it is needed.”

All Arsenal needs to do now is maintain this form and avoid losing points. Arsenal occupies spot 7 with 19 points. The gooners are 12 points behind log leaders Manchester City which is just for game wins away.

Wenger's decision on van Persie costs Arsenal a guaranteed ticket in last 16

Wenger's decisiom to leave Van Persie on the bench has cost the team a guaranteed ticket in the last 16 with two matches to spare. The gunners were held to a goalless draw by Marseille as the captain's replacement, young Park Ju-Young failed to make an impact at goal.

The Arsenal Manager indicated that Park lacked game pace but further indicated that its mainly because he has not played enough games. When questioned why he did not start the in foam Dutchman, The Arsenal Manager fired back by saying, “He was tired. He was fatigued. That’s why I did that,” Wenger said. “You know we’re playing 50 games in a year - he cannot play 50 games.

“He had one great chance when he tried to chip the keeper but you just have to accept it.”

Arsenal now has plenty to do in their final group games at the Emirates with Borussia Dortmund and away to Olympiakos. Chelsea also suffered a similar fate yesterday with Barca and Milan sailing through.

The question that remains at Arsenal is, "Is Wenger relying too much on Van Persie?"

Wenger had this to say, “You cannot just say that one player would make all the difference. I felt it was a game where we were not physically the sharpest. Upfront we lacked a bit of precision. We weren't clinical. We still had the opportunities in the first half through (Aaron) Ramsey and Gervinho. In a game like that you still expect to take those chances.

Arsenal Emirates Stadium Ticket Exchange

It is possible to exchange tickets through the Arsenal Ticket Exchange service where season ticket holders can sell their tickets to fellow Arsenal fans for games they are unable to attend.
The benefits of using the Ticket Exchange system at Emirates Stadium are
·        Better ticket availability for Red and Silver level members. Last season over 10,000 tickets were made available on this service.
·        Using this service enables season ticket holders the opportunity to seek financial return on their season ticket.
·        The Exchange provides members a secure and convenient service to resell tickets to fellow members.
·        The service will assist in Arsenal’s objectives of eradicating the unauthorised andillegal sale of tickets through touts.
How does it work?

Season ticket holders unable to attend a game can make their ticket available once the match is sold out via the Ticket Exchange service  (subject to restrictions). If fixtures go on general sale, to non-members, the Ticket Exchange facility will NOT be in operation.
Upon a buyer being found and a sale being made, your card will be disabled for the game while the buyer's card will be activated. The credit for the ticket sale (less a 10% administrative charge) will be deducted from the cost of your 2011/12 season ticket renewal. If you sold tickets on Ticket Exchange during the previous season your redemption will be automatically taken off your 2010/11 season ticket renewal price.
